Every 2 seconds someone in the United States needs blood.  We rely on the generous donation of blood from our volunteer donors to meet the need of blood products.  If you are interested in donating blood and are at least 16 years old, weigh 110 pounds and in general good health call 1-800-GIVE LIFE to schedule your appointment.

The Red Cross provides relief to victims of disasters by supplying them with their immediate needs including food, shelter and clothing.  Rather it be responding to a local house fire or deploying volunteers to national disasters the Red Cross is ready 24/7.

The American Red Cross offerings training in the community and in the workplace to help citizens and workers prepare for and respond to emergency situations.  We offer a variety of courses including CPR, First Aid, AED, Family Caregiving, Babysitting, Lifegaurding, Scrubby Bears and more. 

The American Red Cross helps vulnerable people around the world to prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters, complex humanitarian emergencies and life threatening conditions.

The American Red Cross provides communications between military members and their families.  Red Cross staffers are able to deliver messages including births, deaths, and other significant matters concerning military members serving in active duty around the world. The Red Cross also provides financial assistance and support of troops serving in various areas of the world.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Duke's Healthcare Foundation in Miami County the Red Cross provides transportation to Miami County residents for out of county medical appointments.  There is no charge to riders and appointments are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
