The American Red Cross is made up of 97% volunteers and has thousands of volunteers world-wide.  

If you are interested in volunteering locally contact our office to start the process.  All volunteers are required to complete background check.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

• Armed Forces Case Workers - help provide communication between active service members and their families.
• Blood Drive Volunteers - help run the registration table and the canteen.
• Disaster Action Team Members - respond to disaster and help your neighbors when they need it most.
• Special Events - help us make our fundraisers and festivals a success.
• Data Entry - enter data regarding volunteers, donors, disasters and health and safety classes.

Club Red is a youth program that operates in conjunction with The Access in downtown Wabash.  Members of Club Red meet once a month during The Access Community Hour.  The youth members not only learn about Red Cross programs but also receive free CPR and First Aid training and participate in special events.
