The American Red Cross in Wabash and Miami Counties were originally chartered by the American National Red Cross in 1917. Since 1917 we have made many changes to better serve our communities, but more importantly we have provided continuous Red Cross services in both counties for over 90 years.
The American Red Cross exists thanks to the generous donations of time, money and blood in our local communities. The Red Cross is not a government agency and receives no annual allotment from the government.
The American Red Cross is a volunteer led organization starting by being overseen locally by a volunteer Board of Directors.
